About Us
Centre for Study on Rainfall and Radio Wave Propagation (CRRP) was established on August 12, 2009, inaugurated by Former President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in the august presence of the Chairman Sri C. Valliappa, the Secretary Sri A. Dhirajlal, the Principal Dr. P. Govindarajan and the entire galaxy of staff and students of Sona. CRRP consists of five staff headed by Dr. Rajasri Sen Jaiswal, a Professor of Physics.
CRRP welcomes researchers in Electronics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Atmospheric Science and Chemistry fields to work hand-in-hand to solve the mystery of rainfall dynamics, its effect on radio wave propagation and the counter balancing mechanism.
